Motors offered at the time were a 1hp single phase Repulsion/Induction motor, and a 1hp or 1.5hp 3 phase. The motor, switch, and motor cover were all optional extras that were sold separately. A 'package' offering, catalog #34-405, got you the base machine plus extension wings and 'super-safe' guard and splitter. The base machine did not include the extension wings, guard or splitter, motor or switch. Techincally, what you have is a Delta model 1450 tilting arbor Unisaw. During that time, they made a right tilt and left tilt machine, and other than the parts related to the 'tilt'ness, most other parts would interchange between them even if decades apart in age. The Unisaw was in production for over 70 years, and they remained virtually unchanged from the time they were introduced up until their major re-redesign sometime around 2009. ![]() Click to expand.All you basically need to know is that it is a right tilt Unisaw -)
